Breath, the rhythm of life we often forget,

A symphony of science, emotion, and my personal debt.

It’s the one thing I share with all beings,

The air I breathe, the very essence of my being.

As I grew, I forgot its power,

I took it for granted, hour after hour.

I went through life with my breath on autopilot,

Forgetting its ability to heal and calm and provide solace.

It wasn’t until I stopped and focused on my breath,

That I started to remember its power, beyond what science can test.

I inhaled deeply, filling my lungs with air,

And exhaled slowly, releasing all my cares.

With each breath, I felt more grounded and present,

My thoughts became clearer, and my emotions more pleasant.

I realized that the power of breath is more profound,

Than just taking in oxygen and letting Co2 out, I found.

Breath is a reminder of the simple things in life,

A moment to be grateful, to let go of my strife.

It’s a chance to reconnect with my inner self,

To find peace and calm, and to love myself.

Science shows that breath can do much more,

Than just calm the mind and open the door.

It can lower blood pressure and reduce stress,

And help me manage pain, and recover with finesse.

Oh, Breath, my dearest friend, thank you for all you do,

For providing me life, and helping me get through.

I promise to cherish you with each passing day,

And never take for granted the role you play.

I’ll breathe with intention, and with each inhale and exhale,

I’ll appreciate the wonder of my body’s inhaling and exhaling tale.

I’ll embrace the power of breath with joy and with pride,

And let it guide me to the life I want to live with each stride.

For breath is not just air, it’s a miracle of life,

A constant reminder that I am alive.

I’ll treasure each breath, and all that it represents,

And I’ll keep breathing with gratitude, and never forget its significance.
